At Krebs Sheep Company, raising sheep is more than a business; it's a way of life. Tucked into the open hills of Eastern Oregon, our family has been caring for the land and our animals for generations. From early morning feedings to rotating grazing ranges, every day is rooted in hands-on, thoughtful care.

Our family moved to Eastern Oregon in 1910 from the west side of the state to escape the rain and create more opportunities for the family. We are now raising up the 5th generation on this land.

We raise 3,000 sheep every year on over 100,000 acres of open ranges and native grasses. We are constantly improving our genetics, infrastructure, feeding and range land practices that prioritize animal health and long-term stewardship of the land. Our lambs grow naturally, without added hormones, and we work hard to make sure they’re treated with the respect they deserve, because we believe good food starts with good care.
